There are so many etiquettes regarding behavior, drink, and food. Generally cakes go with beverages like coffee and tea; rice wine is accompanied with krupuk and nuts; tea, water along with meal. Usually, the host never eats along with guests. In Bali, right hand is considered as pure and everyone eats with right hand. They also avoid using left hand to give, receive or wave to others.

Traditionally, men cook Lawar, by chopping turtle strips with mango or coconut and include delicious spices and blend among the uncooked blood, to make it red.

3-6 months old pig is packed with various aromatic spices and pierced into a wooden rod

and cooked on fire for 1 to 2 hrs of time.

Bebek Betutu is the preparation by stuffing a duck with vegetables and spices, then draped in banana leaf. Then the cooking part is for 3 to 4hrs. This is a special occasion dish.

Rujak is a salad, tasting sour and sweet, made out of unripe fruits like papaya, mango, along with salt, chilly and sugar.
